Our journey began in the 1980s on Rabbi Feivel Mashinsky's mother's porch, where the seeds of our mission to provide affordable clothing to adults and children in the Monsey Jewish community began. What started modestly has now blossomed into a significant force for positive change.
Our Nearly New thrift shop has meticulously organized and sold over 200,000 donated items this year alone. Each purchase not only offers individuals access to quality clothing at unbeatable prices, but also supports the operational expenses of Kupath Ezrah. These sales virtually cover costs for our office, rent, advertising, mailings, and events.
Importantly, every purchase at our store symbolizes our core belief: every Jewish child should feel good and look great, regardless of their financial situation. In this way, every donation weaves together a beautiful garment of care for the Monsey Jewish community.
